The DB Replacer is another good extension from Regular Labs, this extension gives you complete control over the DataBase that your Joomla install is based on, without going into tools like phpMyAdmin that require a lot more knowledge.
The DB replacer from Regular Labs gives you an easy way to control your DataBase inside Joomla without needing to use phpMyAdmin or by using the servers shell. The extension gives you the opportunity to do editing in the database that encloses your Joomla installation.

How to do this?
Note: DB Replacer will make permanent changes to your database, so please make a backup of your site before using this extension. If you prefer to replace some content instead, you may find that ReReplacer is the extension for this, it offers you to replace things in your Joomla site, ReReplacer is also from Regular Labs.
When you first open the DB Replacer from the Components-Menu you will be presented with an interface that is divided into two sections, left / right.
On the left, you will see the Tables that your database offers from the installation, this is preselected with the "content" table. Below this is the columns that the table consists of. (See figure 01)
On the right, you will see the search function that you input your search criteria. When you click to search the information will appear in a column below, there you can easily do the editing. (See figure 02)
