
The Joomla! Project is pleased to announce the release of Joomla 6.0.1 and Joomla 5.4.1. These are bugfix releases for the Joomla 5.x and 6.x series.

We’re celebrating two years of hard work by our volunteers, after all the discussion, code sprints, and bug squashing, the day has finally arrived. We are proud to announce the release of our new major version, Joomla 6.0 (Kuimarisha), alongside Joomla 5.4 (Kutegemea).

Joomla’s built-in access control system is one of its strongest features and restricting content in this way is a very common requirement for membership sites, magazines, online courses.
On my site I want to have a module listing all the blog posts sorted by date. We can do this out of the box using the new mod_articles (since Joomla 5.2) module.
